In part I of this article, I explored the new and returning leather colors for Spring/Summer 2022. now comes the fun part; coordinating with the silks and cashmeres of the season!
Sette det sammen
So as pointed out in part I, instead of focusing on the color family names, I grouped scarves together by the dominant color – although there is a lot of overlap between the color families. Is X a blue scarf or a red scarf when it’s half red and half blue? I have no idea, but I did look to recurring accent colors and made my best guess. Regardless, I then took an example of that particular colorway and gave you some ideas for how to match it with the current leather colors. Nyt!
Purple
Hermès seems to give purples the short shrift; little bits here and there – Raisin for a season to two, or the impossible-to-track-down Mauve Sylvestre – but it’s mostly to tempt us, not satiate. There was one set of scarves that absolutely lean purple, which is good because those Cassis bags are gonna have to opt for something.

Rosa
Pink, however, is a different story. While there are absolutely a few iterations of a specifically pink color family this season, you will see these shades run through a variety of color families, nearly as predominantly as blue does this season. Of course, I just can’t get enough.

Of course, Hermès always seems to have a variety of red scarves. This color family was easy to pick out, with this shade of soft red Hermès calls “Grenadine” accented with blue and/or beige.

Hermès went a little wild with the orange scarves this season (a color, which, unfortunately, I can’t wear), including designs accented with pink, with light or dark blue, or tonal.

Hermès also did a substantial range of yellow scarves, from the neutral end of the spectrum, through the golden shades, to light yellow.

Grønn
Grønt ble brukt mye som en aksentfarge, men bare dominerte i noen få skjerf. Tigre Royal er allerede veldig populær, så jeg tenkte at det ville være en god idé å inkludere det her.

Light Blue er flerårig populær, selv om Hermès ble litt kreative denne sesongen, og sammenkoblet den enten enkelt med en dristig grønn eller gul, veldig mykt med bleke nøytraler, eller som en aksentfarge med en litt dristigere blå sammen med rosa og gul.

Svært sjelden har jeg sett et godt utvalg av svarte skjerf – følgelig har jeg ikke kjøpt et svart skjerf på mange år, i det minste ikke med tanke på at Tohu Bohu ble brukt – så jeg reddet det beste til sist. Det er noen fantastiske alternativer her, enten med pene farger eller nøytrale.
